TRAFFIC ADVISORY: The main drive through Waimea Town (Mamalahoa Highway) will be closed from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for the parade and only emergency vehicles will be permitted to pass through. The community is encouraged to plan ahead to avoid tie-ups.

SAFETY OF EVERYONE IS OUR #1 PRIORITY - please keep a close eye on children and stay off the roadway - the big rigs cannot see well! Also, ABSOLUTELY NO THROWING OF CANDY or other goodies from parade units at spectators. Please pick up your own trash (narrator stations have trash bags if needed), and please do not drive or park on landscaped areas putting sprinklers and plantings at risk.
