69 Beach - Waialea Beach

69 Beach - Waialea Beach
Almost don't want to tell you about this beach since it is so perfect!  A great swimming beach, but my favorite thing is the long stretch of shaded beach to walk. The water usually clear and the beach is sandy with a few scattered rocks.
A perfect day here would  be to get there early in the day, find a place to tuck yourself among the shady trees. Then the rest of the day you could take a swim, relax and repeat as needed.

69 beach 2Small children love exploring the twisty trees, playing in the sand and climbing rocks.  Since it it shady - you can let them play all day!
On a calm day snorkeling is good almost anywhere along the beach.

Be aware of Kiawe thorns on the beach near trees.
It's a good idea to pack in snacks and drinks since there is no place nearby to buy anything.

There are showers and restrooms. Parking is $5
